为促进中外学者在语言学、语言教学，特别是外语教学领域的学术探讨和学术交流，西南交通大学外语学院与美国哥伦比亚大学中文部将于2015年8月23至24日在中国四川·成都联合举办“语言与语言教育国际研讨会”。
本次研讨会将邀请国际知名学者担任主旨报告人并围绕以下论题展开学术讨论:
1、汉语国际教育的现状与前景：汉语国际教育的瓶颈与突破，国别化的汉语国际教育等；
2、语言学研究与语言教育的关系：语言观与语言教学法，不同框架的语法学研究与语法教学的实践等；
3、语言学研究与文学研究的关系：语体与语法，语言变体与文学的地方性等。

会议筹备委员会邀请国内外语言学、语言教学和文学研究领域的同行提交论文，共襄盛举。有意与会的学者请提交论文提要，截止日期为2015年6月1日。提要可用E-mail附件方式提交至（会务组邮箱）。论文提要及可用中文或英文撰写。中文字体请用小四号宋体（或12号新细明体），英文用12 号Times New Roman。提要长度不超过1页，请注明作者姓名、就职或就学单位、作者联系方式等。电子文本请存为Word文档，如有特殊文字或图表等，请同时提交PDF文档。论文的接受通知将于2015年6月10日发出，请将与会回执于2015年7月1日前返还组委会。

Announcement of the International Conference on Language and Language Education
Call for Paper
To promote the academic research and academic exchange between Chinese and overseas scholars in the fields of Linguistics, Language Education, particularly in the field of foreign language instruction, the School of Foreign Languages at the Southwest Jiaotong University and the Chinese Language Program at the Columbia University in the city of New York will jointly organize the International Conference on Language and Language Education on the 23rd to 24th of August, 2015 in Chengdu, China.
The organizing committee of the conference will invite worldly renowned scholars as its Key-note speakers and discuss the following subjects:
1. The relationship between linguistic study and literary study: genres and grammar, linguistic variations and regional literature, etc..
2. The Relationship between linguistic study and language education: linguistic theories and language pedagogy, grammar in different theoretic frameworks and the practice of grammar instruction, etc..
3. The Current State and lookout of the Chinese International Education: the three so-called bottlenecks of Chinese International Education, The Country-specific Chinese International Education, etc..

The organizing committee invites proposals from interested scholars in China and overseas. Those who intend to present a paper at the Conference should send an abstract to the organizing committee by June 1, 2015 at the following e-mail address:
The abstract can be written in both Chinese and English. In Chinese, please use the Songti font in small 4 or Mingti in thin 12. In English, please use the Times New Roman font in size 12.
All submitted abstracts should be less than one page in length, providing the name of the author, academic affiliation, and contact information (email and postal address).
Please submit your electronic text in Microsoft Word format, or send in PDF format if special characters and graphs are imbedded.
Notice of acceptance for general paper will be announced on June 10, 2015. Please return confirmation of attendance to the organizing committee by July 1, 2015.
