On October 27, 2025, Prof. Pascal Ducournau, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, History, and Society at Université Marie-Louise Pasteur (France), visited the SFL to discuss cooperation on student exchange programs. Prof. Yu Senlin, Dean of the SFL; Prof. Zeng Xiangmin, Director of Teaching Affairs; and Associate Professor Cheng Lei from the French Department participated in the meeting.
During the discussion, Dean Yu introduced the SFL’s disciplinary strengths, achievements in international cooperation, and strategic plans for talent cultivation under new global challenges. He highlighted the SFL’s advantages in multilingual talent training and its development of overseas academic exchange platforms. Dean Pascal Ducournau presented an overview of Université Marie-Louise Pasteur’s teaching resources in the humanities and its experience in international collaboration, expressing a strong interest in deepening student exchange between the two institutions.
Both sides discussed potential collaborative models, such as semester exchange programs and dual-degree joint training, and reached a preliminary consensus on expanding student mobility and enhancing pathways for intercultural education. The meeting laid a solid foundation for future, more substantive cooperation.
