Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education (MOE) announced the list of national and provincial first-class major construction sites in 2021, and the German major of the School of Foreign Languages of SWJTU was approved as a national first-class undergraduate construction site. This is another important progress in the construction of undergraduate majors after the German major was approved as a provincial-level first-class major construction point in 2019.

All the teachers and students of German majors will rely on the advantages of multidisciplinary development of the university, integrate the resources of discipline development at the university and college levels, further strengthen the construction of first-class undergraduate majors, continuously improve the quality of talent training, and create a new situation of high-quality development of undergraduate education.
