During the bus ride, Li Zihan, a student from the Department of French and Russian, gave an engaging introduction to Sichuan’s major landmarks and natural attractions. Other students followed by sharing insights into Chengdu’s unique food culture. To enhance interaction, the volunteers prepared a quiz for the French guests, offering small gifts as prizes for correct answers. The lively quiz created a joyful and relaxed atmosphere, with the French delegation showing keen interest in the thoughtful giveaways.
Exploring Chengdu and Experiencing Local Life
Upon arrival at their hotel, the volunteers assisted the guests with check-in procedures and helped carry their luggage, showcasing their attentiveness and hospitality. Before dinner, the students led the delegation on a brief city tour, highlighting landmarks such as Chengdu University, which served as the main venue for the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games. The guests were particularly intrigued by elements unique to Chengdu, such as the widespread use of shared bicycles.
