The 2022 cohort of the Department of Translation delivered outstanding results in the English TEM-4 (Test for English Majors-Band 4), with all 50 students passing the examination, achieving a 100% pass rate. Among them, 26 students earned the grade of “Excellent”, accounting for 52%, while 40 students achieved either “Excellent” or “Good” grades, pushing the combined rate of top performances above 80%. This marks the second time the undergraduate students of the Department of Translation have achieved a 100% pass rate, following the success of the 2021 cohort in 2023.

This remarkable achievement reflects the collective efforts of both teachers and students in the Department of Translation. Special recognition goes to class mentors for their guidance and to Yi Qian, whose rich experience and dedication in teaching General English and preparing students for the TEM-4 significantly enhanced their comprehensive English skills, laying a solid foundation for their success.
