The final of the Dormitory Festival of Southwest Jiaotong University, sponsored by the Communist Youth League and hosted by the Student Union of the School of Foreign Languages, was held on the evening of October 18th, in x4151. The guests presented at the event were Msr. Guo Bingjun, the counselor of grade 2018, the ministers and deputy ministers of Life Department and Art Department from the Student Union of School of Foreign Languages, School of Information Science and Technology, School of Civil Engineering.

After selection and online voting of students in the preliminary stage, eight dormitories finally entered the final. The final is divided into two parts: dormitory decoration presentation (which was showed through PPT) and dormitory members' talent show.

First of all, the T151074 dormitory, called "the WG flagship store", was decorated as a cozy room, and its members gave a show including songs, dances and a violin solo. Then there was "The Strongest in the Universe" dormitory T151070. After a brief introduction of dormitory members and dormitory culture, they brought us a song "Room". The next was the T151063 dormitory. The four girls decorated their dormitory with Nordic feature, showing the concept of simplicity, and brought the song and dance "Learning Cat's Meow". The fourth was the T151058 dormitory. Adhering to the concept of free development, they built the dormitory into a loving home. After the introduction, they brought the song performance called "My Sky". The fifth was "Fairy House" dormitory T151057. They formed their friendly dormitory culture and expressed their feelings in the song of "Friendship Lasts Forever". Next came "Pink Girls in the Bar", T151045, which showed their vitality and enthusiasm in the dance "Love Cycle". The only boys' dormitory in the final, T172048, called their dormitory "Here's a small shop". Their performance "Old Driver, Please Take Me" made the party go with a swing. The last one was the T151075 dormitory. Their dormitory was decorated with the theme of freshness and comfort, which was presented in their performance of the finger dance "Sticky Note Wish".

The event came to an end with a result that the dormitories of T151074, T151075 and T151063 won the third prize, T151057 and T151058 won the second prize, T151045 won the first prize, T172048 won the best performance prize, and T151070 won the popularity prize.
