Founded in the 16th century, the University of Palaceho is the second oldest university in the Czech Republic and a long-term overseas partner of our university. There are eight colleges in the University of Palaceho. The College of Arts is the largest and most famous one. It has Departments of English, German, French, Art, Sociology, etc. Its disciplines cover three levels: undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctor.
The university has jointly built Confucius Institute with Peking University and signed friendly cooperation agreements with Shandong University, Beijing Language University, Southwest University, Southwest Jiaotong University, and other universities. This year, this university continues to carry out summer visiting programs with domestic partner universities. The main contents of the project include: providing European Language and European and American history and culture courses; offering a series of lectures on the history, society, and culture of English -speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada; organizing students to make on-the-spot historical and cultural visits, including the Czech capital Prague, the Slovak capital Bratislava, the Austrian capital Vienna and other historical cities.
