任显楷，文学博士，副教授，外国语学院院长助理，硕士研究生导师，第十二批四川省学术和技术带头人后备人选，中国“红楼梦学会”会员、四川省理事。长期从事西方汉学及中西文化比较研究。近年来的研究兴趣集中在《红楼梦》的海外译介与传播方面。主持国家社科基金青年项目1项，教育部专项项目2项，发表论文27篇，出版专著1部，译著9部。
Dr Xiankai Ren is an Associate Professor and Master Supervisor in DICE. He gragudated from Sichuan University with PhD in Literature.
Dr Xiankai Ren undertakes the research on Chinese Studies and the Comparative Study between China and the West. He is very active in the academic research field in the translation and interpretation of A Dream of Red Mansions in overseas countries. Since 2008, Dr Xiankai Ren presides one research program founded by National Social Science Fund of China and two programs founded by the China Ministry of Education. He currently published 27 articles, 1 monograph and 9 translated works in well recognized journals and press companies in China.
Dr Ren serves as an Assistant to the Dean of School of Foreign Languages at SWJTU. His other remits include: being the candidate for the Leaders of academic and technological research in Sichuan, a member of A Dream of Red Mansions Association China and its council member in Sichuan.
