讲座1 旨在探讨民族文学与世界文学的关系并介绍比较文学和世界文学最新理论。讲座最后以英国作家弗吉妮亚•沃尔夫小说《到灯塔去》为例，展示英国文学里的中国元素。 What is national literature? What is world literature? This lecture will explore the relationship between national literature and world literature and introduce new theories of comparative literature and world literature. In addition, it will use the British novelist Virginia Woolf’s novel To the Lighthouse as an example to introduce theories of globalization as a trans-era process. |

讲座3 将介绍著名比较文学专家张隆溪教授的“文化共同性”理论，并探讨英国作家的“永恒哲学”观。 This lecture will introduce the concept of cultural diversity developed by Longxi Zhang in his book The Fallacy of Cultural Incommensurability. It uses the British writer Aldous Huxley as an example to show how Huxley demonstrates cultural commensurability in his book The Perennial Philosophy. |
